The American Association for Psychoanalytic Education (A.A.P.E.) is a non-profit standards and consultative organization, whose aim is the promotion of excellence in psychoanalytic education. A.A.P.E. is tax-exempt under section 501(c) (3) of the IRS code. It is funded by member-institute dues and by donors who are committed to the education and training of future psychoanalysts.
